Stainless Steel Heat Exchangers provide the ability to heat your pool or spa from a primary heat source. For example your house central heating system may have sufficient spare capacity in the summer to be able to provide heat for the outdoor pool. The central heating water is passed through one part of the heat exchanger, the pool water is passed through the other part and the heat is transfered to the pool water.
If it is not practical to use an existing central heating system, a separate primary boiler can be installed specifically to supply a heat exchanger.
Additional essential equipment for heat exchanger installation is a thermostatically controlled motorised three-way valve to control the supply of hot water to the heat exchanger. A thermostat sensor determines when the pool water requires heating, and causes the motorised valve to allow primary hot water through the heat exchanger.
It is very important to ensure that the primary boiler is capable of producing slightly more heat than the Heat Exchanger can transfer to the pool water.
Stainless Steel Heat Exchangers provide a high resistance to corrosion and are light enough to be easily wall mounted.
