If you dream of owning your own swimming pool
but have always thought it would be far too expensive -
you may be in for a pleasant surprise now!

Modern Kafco swimming pool kits for DIY installation
are inexpensive and are very easy and simple to install.

Look at this Kafco Budget D.I.Y. pool. Using the latest methods and materials,
this pool can often be built in as little as 1 week,
and it doesn't cost a fortune to buy - or to run !

-

The shell walls are constructed of extremely strong and ridgid Polymer Resin Panels
which will never rot, corrode or decay, and should last a lifetime.
These panels are already cut and machined for the shell fittings - all you have to do is bolt them together, and bolt or screw on the various shell fittings.

The vinyl liner is a standard 20 gauge swimming pool liner made from pure virgin vinyl, and is algae and UV resistant. Liners have a full 2 year manufacturers warranty, and have an expected life of 7 to 10 years. Replacing a liner is quick and simple.

The Snap-Lock Coping makes it impossible for the liner bead to accidently pull out from the receptor channel.

The pool can have either a flat floor at wall depth (4ft) or it can be sloped down to a 5ft depth (illustrated below) for the same cost.
If you have young children you may want to install with the flat floor now, and then dig out the extra foot depth when you change the liner in 7 to 10 years time.

Installing a KAFCO DIY Inground pool is not difficult. The hole in the ground has to be dug - and unless you are really fit and keen this is best achieved using a self drive mini-digger and a dumper. These are not expensive to hire - around £70 - £100 per day depending on the size of mini digger and where you live. They are quite easy and fun to operate, and the hole should be easily dug in one day, but allow two days if you've not operated a mini digger before. Even if you have a narrow access, make enquiries at the hire shops because some machines are designed to go through very narrow gaps. If you can't lose the soil by spreading it around your garden, you will have to dispose of it elsewhere. You can fill skips if you are digging by hand, or you can arrange for a local man with a truck to take it away. You may have a friend or neighbour who would love some free soil.

The panels just bolt together, and the various fittings are simply screwed or bolted in place. Some people tend to be a bit wary if they have to work with cement and concrete, you can usually find someone nearby who would be happy to help you with the particular skills you are not confident with.

We provide all our customers with unlimited telephone support, and we can arrange to help you install the liner if that particular aspect worries you. (we do have to make a small charge if we have to travel more than 25 miles radius)

We have a CD based comprehensive video that shows you a Kafco DIY pool being installed from start to finish. If you are seriously considering installing a Kafco DIY pool, please phone us and we will be pleased to send you a copy
